I "try" to remember that having no/low expectations make it hard to be disappointed when it comes to people (throw in hyped games too haha!) 🙂

All my birthdays have been good luckily till now

I haven't really celebrated it for about 25yrs. Even before that I never really cared much for them. I know this sounds odd but I've always found them to be too focused on the individual which can lead to pain like what the OP has experienced. A thought I used to play around with was if birthdays are more about celebrating the world and everything in it, it's healthier than wanting everyone to celebrate you. That way the love can go to everyone instead of only a few on that day and it doesn't matter if you're alone.

(Imagine if everyone did that)

Anyway my worst would probably be my 21st. It was ok but a group of people who had been threatening to kill me turned up to my home and sat with us. I didn't ask them to leave though as I saw it as a way to reconcile. Which it somewhat did.

When I was 7 a girl pulled my hair. Apart from that my birthdays have been fine. I don't really celebrate them anyway

Every single birthday I've ever had I guess, I don't like celebrating it. Nothing specific really happened, my family is just a family on paper, made me hate most things lol

The part where I get 1 year older

I've always been a phlegmatic and calm person; I doubt anyone has ever seen me lose my temper. But my father is the one exception. He has a dark aura that can throw me off balance instantly. He once threw raw chicken at my birthday party, though the details are fuzzy now - it was a long time ago.

I got a Nickelback CD from my grandma and she said “kids like this kind of music”.

Lol I havent had a fulltime job in like 6 years.

When you dont work and have no money, you really dont feel like celebrating your birthday.

I kinda do hope the cancer test pops back positive, im pretty tired of all this lol.

Never really had a bad birthday

Not worse birthday or anything.
A realisation.
The local pub would make bit of an effort for some people's birthday.
It had no interest in getting to know mine.
That was over 20 years ago.

Not a big thing but I turn up there and everybody wants to be greeting me or rather seen to be greeting me.
Any hassle and nobody will get hurt I won't allow it,
If i am overseeing a pool game nobody is messing about with the money on the table,
strangers come in not knowing anybody they get people to drink with,
somebody going through bit of a rough patch and may act up a bit - I'm the one backing their corner and stopping them getting banned. (sometimes they have no clue what some of the people were about getting them barred from the place).

When I first started going to the pubs one of my friends did warn me, he said they are all smiles to your face but anybody stands out too much then any opportunity and they will trash talk behind their back and create problems.

A lesson I did not learn for a very long time despite it being taught so many times.
It has jaded my view of people that amongst other things.

When I was around 11 one of my friends pushed a guy who had some sort of disability out of his chair and he started crying and both of their moms started fighting, and more people joined in, there was blood
