Sometimes even with a backlog I decide to pick something for short bursts instead, most recent case being this:
https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/2389830/__ASURA_THE_STRIKER/
Its a pretty cool Space Harrier clone with a sprinkle of Outrun when it comes to stage selection/paths, it just needs more polish to truly shine.
As for longer stuff, I had Atelier Sophie sitting in my library for a while and decided to play through it last month. No idea why, I just felt like it.
If that is not clear I look at what I feel like doing.
I have a Dracula game and all its sequels lined up from GoG when I feel I am wanting to really focus I will be onto that one.
World of Guns : Guns Disassembly . If I want to put some mechanical and memory skills to work I play that I usually go into it several times a day.
Merchant if I want a quick questy game - send adventurers off to get materials and you can make things to sell and send them off again. Too addictive if you let it suck you in.
If I want an in depth game to build the character and have few hours to focus then the usual Oblivion / Fallout type games.
If I feel like watching all my work disappear I play Liberty Crime Squad.
Yea hooked on that like crack. survival crafting
