claustrophobia sounds right. there are a very significant amount of horror and thriller films that seem to centre on protagonists with agoraphobia, oddly enough. i can think of at least 10 or so off the top of my head

Claustrophobia because that is the fear of small places, the opposite of fear of open spaces which is spelled Agoraphobia.

but if you are afraid of enclosed spaces, and afraid of open spaces, then what else is left? a space that's just the right size so as to induce maximum relaxation and serenity?
