Why gamers so aggressive to using AI on games?
90% of game developers are using AI agents in their workflows, says new survey:

Most of the devs using AI, generative AI or coding AI agents in nowadays. But most of gamers gonna hate it when the game is made by AI.

I will not even know this but the most valuable company in the west is NVIDIA and because the development in AI. So can you guys just let me know why there is a problem of using generative AI on the games?

Just don't let them know it's AI and they won't have a problem, they just think it's somehow "unfair" and "soulless" to use a tool even when they can't even tell the difference.

AI bad because

take away job
waste lots of energy
require electronics and precious metal

oppose all AI in every part of life. especially considering AI development has and is being used to kill people both directly by being used in military and indirectly by increasing energy demands filled by fossil fuels

Just like every technological progress in this capitalist system, it's only going to profit a tiny minority at the expense of the rest : in this case cut costs in jobs and dev time won't make games more affordable, just increase stockholders' profits.

AI in itself isn't bad, it's only a (powerful) tool.

I don't know, I just want good games, you know? And I think the chances of generative AI making games lamer is higher than making them better.

It's only going up and it's only getting better, there really is no reason to complain besides ignorance.
And it doesn't apply only to gaming, that's the future whether they like it or not.

I keep telling people : learn computer science.
Harvard even give it away free.
Check out youtube cs50 David Malan.

I personally think everybody who uses anything more than notepad++ is a sell out traitor.

One has tried to spark some enthusiasm on coding here but people just want to complain.

I recall Google once said it cost more money and time to have someone fix AI-generated code than to have a human write code from scratch.

Because humans want to be entertained by other humans. Is it so difficult to understand?

I don't mind some extraneous aspects of a game being handled by AI. But dialog, music, character models? ♥♥♥♥ outta here.

Art is the very essence of the human experience, and I will die before I allow AI to take that from me.
