when xbox is finally beaten

hey community. the following is my only opinion and not meant to hurt anybody or start a fire.

these days, I see a lot of hate online against xbox and microsoft. "xbox is dead" or "why xbox sucks" etc. do you ppl even grasp, what will happen, when microsoft says "sales are not enough, we quit xbox business".

what do you think? do you really believe, microsofts competitors will have words full of love like "yeah, we will reduce the price for our hard- and software by 50% and we will treat our customers like kings with releasing totally bug free new state of the art games and software"?

if any company has a monopole, they can (and probably will) do, what they want, when they want. no more mr nice guy. I mean, the bashing goes even so far that xbox series x is criticized for its uhd bluray drive and ppl mention playstation without bluray drive as "modern and good looking".

please think about this, when bashing any console, as IMO all of those can coexist easily. nobody has to hate a company or console. I think, its too much, when I see some videos on youtube or on the web as a whole.

as I mentioned, its my very own opinion. what do you think?

I think I don't care. Except for being cheap, consoles have no advantage over a PC. And big companies like Microsoft are not needed to develop games. Even if game development stopped tomorrow, there are still more good games out there already than I have time to play in the rest of my life.

I think it's weird for ordinary nobodies to do PR for corporations they don't work for. It doesn't make negative voices any quieter, either. A ♥♥♥♥-stirrer relies on your interaction to stay relevant.

And again you're not getting paid or benefitting in any way by being a goalie for microsoft or sony or whoever is your favorite. Why not pick up a hobby or do volunteer work, exercise idk.

Nobody can have a monopoly in videogames and the only thing you should worry about is GabeN dying and leaving Steam to some greedy corpo man.

Xbox and MS are Too Big to Fail. Just don't use Game Pass Ultimate. I don't. I just have the basic, which now even gives us Stream Gaming, meaning on my Xbox One, i can play next gen games.

And with Xbox, i get Ge Force Now thru my Edge browser, and therefore access to Steam.

when one of the big players leaves the market, or worse, only one is left, gamers will wish, they were more kind earlier. because then, the company xyz can demand anything they want due to a monopoly.

What are you talking about? Did you see how many copies of FH5, a 4 year old game, sold on PS5?

This day and age most people can't afford to spend $70 on the newest game that lets face it will be bad. Most people don't want to spend the amount of money new consoles want either.

It is bad enough they raised the price of game pass, but they reduced the points for playing games as well. I was done with Xbox,until I was given one as a gift, so I am still in the ecosystem.
