true, but the definition of respect is "to look at; or to observe" the"status of a person" intransitive to not "dilute; OR thin" and be unstable.

So, in a sense of the presence of something that make it feel big or see no end and the results are full of inspirations that have no end.

in the contrary, the thoughts about a bad ending with nothing but death have given people the belief that it's possible to destroy what builds people up and makes them feel great and full of respect.

Nope I don't get any respect. I'm poor and don't own much. I have a few things of sentimental value but they aren't particularly expensive.

It's a thing that frustrates me at work. I only work for the paycheck. I am not actually valued as an employee and don't get any respect for what I do. I just do the job for the money.

They screwed us over during our last couple contract negotiations. There is no back and forth. They decide what they're going to pay us before the negotiation starts and our union rep rolls over like a dog and feeds us BS excuses for why they have to roll over.

Why even have the negotiation then?

But the job market is so bad now, the fact is I'm lucky to have a job at all. So I keep showing up to get paid what little I can get.

🙂‍↕️ absolutely correct! but the fact is. A parent forces their child into demanding they respect their elders because they have earned respect from others and not the child.

We had a contract negotiation during the COVID shutdown when inflation had spiked to over 8%

They wanted to give tech support a 1.5% raise, less than the 2% we received last year. Oh they also wanted to take our performance bonuses away.

It's reached the point where it feels like disrespect us so much they would rather pay us in dog food.

Meanwhile the superintendent went straight to the school board and got a 7% raise that year. The corrupt highly-paid administrators who work in the district office shower themselves in taxpayer wealth and act like Scrooge when it comes to paying the employees who actually do the work.

This is a NY state job. We're all NY state employees. But it seems like there is no accountability. The higher ups pillage the taxpayer funds and sprinkle pocket change out to the workers.
