30% of the xbox budget goes towards this attempt at qc and the subs are used to pay for the division of a separate department.

Btut ill definitely will buy (someday) ps4 (to play Silent Hill), Xbox one for Forza 2, and PS5 for other good exlusives - since you only can play these games on these consoles and its not emulated. Swith too cause emulation of it is horrible.
- people don't want to config
- people don't work in tech, they work in something else that requires very little tech
- people don't want to play with people who cheat in video games ( there are cheater software tricks on console and cheater hardware they plug in now and it's a problem), and the console OS has immutable, non admin, non root, IMAGE deploy based OS... and it doesn't do anything but the game PORTS to open connections to the GAME... it doesn't have much programs, it's for games... and it is the same on every system. The hardware is the same on every system.
- people don't want to do the "PC arms race" for the fastest GPU so your hardware hums and sings, where the other guys you kill in mplayer games sputters and pouts, why it's kinda pay--to--win in some pc games, the smooth frames per second sometimes makes the game more enjoyable... and when you are having fun, you win more.
It is a rip off to have to pay monthly for mplayer games on console. YOU ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF.
It's also A RIP OFF to have to pay so much for a GPU.
Pretty balanced right now....
I figured people are *not* buying them because Microsoft has been pretty much encouraging people not to with Phil Spencer openly admitting they "Lost" to the competition. That doesn't exactly instill confidence in consumers.
Add to this how they have been spending millions and millions on studios only to release no games, then close the studio. Or, to hell with it- Release a good game, and close the studio anyway.
Don't like getting malware....
Don't like being followed...
Don't like being trolled....
Hate reloading OS's.... not fun.... have having to load software all the time... I didn't write this stuff, you would think they would work harder to protect you so you can enjoy using a computer.
