for sure, they need to bring back the "no politics, religion and prone to huge arguments" rule.

that said, despite politics being a horrible topic, imho....

i think the spam we have been seeing, with "poop" related and inappropriate topics, along with necro-ing tons of old threads, scams/phishing, etc.., that have been flooding the forums, almost every day, mostly by alt accounts, is more troubling to say the least.

anywho, the forums have become a horrible experience in any case.

but ya, ever since they removed the rule (no politics, religion or prone to huge arguments) and moderation changed, the forums have gone down hill and fast at that.

they just need to bring back the rule and be done with it.

I'd say keep politics, but start banning anyone purposely using politics to ragebait and such. Help weed out the ones who want to fight from those who just want to hold conversations.

It would be fine if the political discussions were reasonable and limited to a couple megathreads. But at least 75% of the discussions on here either ragebait, or a gang war between redditors and facebook boomers, with the occasional /pol/ack.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm they are anoying but yea we cant ban the troll posters, make a post demanding more funny topics usually gets results

Topic about best cheese types? A few comments in and someone ‘s somehow talking politics.
