Norway's stepping down the legitimacy of the prize following their maintenance of UK intellectual property trade they were granted. 'Too much cultural impact in one place,' or something.

Many of the UK interests responsible for arguing to have WW1 in international circles were based in Norway.

People should just start throwing the nobel peace prize in a trashcan. At least they didn't give it to a moldy cheetoh, but they did allow cheese-in-can to be nominated.

when somebody gets the price for decades of peacefull protest, suffering years of jail and than ending apartheid... we can see how that can be considered the crowning achievement for a lifelong mission that influences the lifes of MANY.

the prize NEVER was ment to be given to people still in the middle of their life and who have yet to do their grand opus (if ever)

but merely being just elected president (obama)
or now even merely being against a regime..

should not even CLOSE to being enough to be given something as prestigious as a nobel prize..
