I want a smoke so badly
It must seem pretty absurd to people who have never done it that I want to suck on a stick full of dried overpriced leaves doused in thousands of cancer causing chemicals so I can have my breath smell like ass and be less able to breathe and certainly die sooner, just for 5 minutes of relaxation that is always followed up with a feeling of being unsatisfied

But that's what a memory of a dopamine hit'll do to you

It's weird that you know this and still continue. You're fully aware that it's just a dopamine loop, and yet you continue to run it. Just stop. Nicotine is out of your system after a few hours. The physical craving stops after about three days. It's just willpower.

You're going to need to lock the ♥♥♥♥ in, warrior, and cultivate your 'will to power'. Get a breathlace; it stimulates that same drag and hand-to-mouth habit.

Ain't that just how it goes though. Like you know it's bad and you know you are in a loop but you have to get your brain out of it somehow. I know a guy trying to quit right now by first only smoking when he really needed to take off the withdraw and then moved to using those nicotine packets you put in your mouth. It's a process for sure.

It stops looking cool once you realize what a crutch it is.
It's the opposite of cool. I mean, I won't judge but it's a very hard habit to quit.
