That cheat hasn't worked since the 90's. And only worked on very few games by a single company. Plus controllers nowadays don't have a select button anymore.

Well.. at least your excuse is better then blaming it on a possibly non existing familiar. 2/5 for cheating and excuse but 10/10 for nostalgia.
That's still a solid 7 though
