I always disliked superman but i thought most people loved it and that the movie did very well but i guess not huh

istarted watching for free and stopped when i saw super dog no i cant thats worse than king kong flying through neverworld

That's because heroes are boring.

Anti-heroes like Deadpool and/or anti-villains like Thanos are much more interesting because they have much more character depth.

Yep, it felt like watching a filler episode from the 90s Superman: The Animated Series.
You’re just thrown straight into it, no buildup, no purpose.
Calling it mediocre is actually being way too generous it was complete garbage.

Logan was proof of concept r rated superhero movies can be wildly successful.

I don't know why they keep playing the lowest common denominator game but maybe one day hollywood will become self aware.

Take those numbers and divide by 2. Theaters aren't showing movies for free. They get a cut of the ticket sales.

The usual calculation is that in order to start making a profit, a movie has to make double its production cost in ticket sales. So it looks like Superman indeed lost money.

(350 x 2) = 700

700 - 615 = 85 = approx loss.

The last good superman movie was superman 2.
