Fun fact... scanner hardware(and possibly in the software) automatically detects "real" money and makes the image unusable.

When it comes to printing CURRENCY, it reduces the value of said currency. This is actually a form of theft. The government is stealing from you by printing currency, which they then hand to themselves. Yes they make it illegal for you to do so, but not them. That said, if everyone printed it, rather than just the state, it would go to the dump a hell of lot faster.
