chivalry was a pretty important concept in the recent past and before that women were possibly the most valuable piece of property a man could own and it makes me wonder if feminism was as important during those times as it is now how would those periods be such a male dominated society compared to today.

As the past the feminists were pushing to have the same rights as men... and now they are trying to gain more rights rather than being seen as equals.
