How to do FTL travel using Time Machine
So, this idea is in the development stage. Things still need to be put to the test.

But, this is the general idea: we already understand space and time are linked together and form the space-time continuum. When we travel in space, no matter the speed, we always move in time with a constant speed, similar to everyone else (almost, we already know astronauts perceive a slower passing of time). So, maybe, we could travel in time, no matter the speed, and then convert that energy into space-movement.

Think of time, just time. The NOW MOMENT is like a barrier, and it should respect the same principles of physics. If we push on it, it should push-back with the same power or intensity.

So, in theory, why not make an FTL drive that can push into the NOW MOMENT barrier and then be pushed back, but instead of going through time again, once we reach the NOW MOMENT, we travel through space?

Example: the sun is at a distance of 8 minutes at light speed. If we push back into time, trying to go 8 minutes into the past, the NOW MOMENT barrier will also push us back 8 minutes. But once we reach the present moment, which will also happen instantly, we no longer travel through the time dimension and we switch to the space dimension. And instead of being in the same place, but 8 minutes into the future, we will be in the same time, but 8 minutes (at light speed) more further.

Also, we could also use 2x, or 3x or whatever x factors for destinations too far.

Developing this alternate form of travel might give the edge to humans in space travel, because we'd have basically instant travel.

What do you think?

it may cause some implications in time and also probably cause time anomalies, so would frankly not be a good idea

in a video game though this could work ofc

what sort of anomalies could we expect?

It is dream to believe, whoever told you, that can time travel.

The only way speculated, mark speculated, is via black holes. One little problem remains getting close to a black hole, and entering it

If you can time travel forward, it means you can time travel backwards.

This is not going to happen

Also why do you assume a worm hole will take you in the future ? What if it takes in veryvery old times ?
