I reckon most people know whom Tina Turner was (video below from music video)

Americans love to make statues of people they love (some better than others) the time has come for Tina Turner and the statue have been put in Brownsville, Tennessee

How would you rate the statue from 1 - 10

Personally I can´t rate it, as I don´t really think its a statue of Tina Turner, but maybe you can.

It took me nearly a week to realize that the images I saw in my news feed was supposed to be Tina Turner.

The good news is I'm sure Antifa/BLM will tear it down and throw it into the river any day now.

Should just make giant cakes and have tina turner pop out of it (a hologram of course)

I reckon it is mainly due to cost and because it would take more skill to create it in marble..
You would be blown backwards, if you know how much that bronze statue had cost (its not just the material and artist, but also lots of adminstrative cost)

Maybe the time has come to do something else than statues? like name a street after them instead.

that statue looks nothing like her, its looks horrible, they should be ashamed for passing it off as her.

Yes marble they’d have to find a piece and then not screw up.

If you screw up with bronze you can just melt it down and try again.
