Pope Leo Breaks Down Why MAGA Is 'Not Really' Pro-Life

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/pope-leo-breaks-down-why-220830242.html

The Pope’s no dope — at least when it comes to calling out MAGA’s hypocrisy.

Pope Leo XIV on Tuesday strongly criticized President Donald Trump’s cruel immigration policies and their supporters by suggesting that they don’t seem very “pro-life.”

“Someone who says ‘I’m against abortion but says I am in favor of the death penalty’ is not really pro-life,” Leo said. “Someone who says that ‘I’m against abortion, but I’m in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States,’ I don’t know if that’s pro-life.”

I'm not interested in what a 'holy' man living in golden halls and shiny black marble chambers has to say about life, gentleness and goodness.

maga is pro-maga and nothing else. The acronym it stands for is also meaningless.

Living by and for hate seems to be the only thing they stand for, and all they care about is having the highest score, in a game only they are playing....
I'm not interested in what a 'holy' man living in golden halls and black shiny marble chambers has to say about life, gentleness and goodness. is that correct description of vatican

From ChatGPT

Not quite—your description is more poetic than factual. The Vatican is architecturally grand, but it’s not defined by “golden halls” or “black shiny marble chambers.”

The Vatican, particularly the Apostolic Palace (the Pope’s official residence), is a complex blend of Renaissance and Baroque architecture, rich in history and artistic significance. Here's a clearer picture:

🏛️ What the Vatican Really Looks Like
Architectural Style: The Vatican is a tapestry of styles—early Christian basilicas, Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque. The Renaissance dominates, especially in monumental spaces like the Sistine Chapel and Raphael Rooms.

Materials and Colors: While there are marble floors and ornate decorations, the Vatican is not characterized by “black shiny marble.” Instead, it features white and colored marbles, frescoed ceilings, and gilded details in chapels and museums.

Papal Residence: The Apostolic Palace includes papal apartments, chapels, and offices. It’s lavish but also functional. Interestingly, Pope Francis chose not to live there, preferring a modest two-room apartment in the Domus Sanctae Marthae.

Public Spaces: Tourists can visit parts of the palace, including the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, and Vatican Library. These areas showcase some of the world’s greatest art, not just opulence2.

🎨 Symbolism vs Reality
Your phrase evokes a critique of perceived hypocrisy or disconnect between spiritual teachings and material surroundings. That’s a valid philosophical stance—but architecturally, the Vatican is more about historical grandeur and artistic legacy than ostentatious luxury.

Would you like to explore how Vatican architecture reflects its spiritual mission—or how different popes have approached simplicity and humility?

maga is very much anti-Christian. Thanks for pointing it out. :BL3Thumbsup:
I don't need chatGTP to form an opinion on what the Vatican is, has done and stands for.
The Pope adopting a humanist approach is just a massive W and not surprised at all MAGA feel threatened by the papacy or someone who advocates basic human decency like love thy neighbor. MAGA would probably call Jesus woke too. :cuphead:
