If they bring in a Lefty that will promise to raise taxes on the rich and preserve pensions, lower retirement ages and end the out of control defense spending, and put emphasis on Britons and not Ukrainians, people may forget about these socio moral boondoggles.
Good job xD Nothing but a collection of racism related reporting article headlines here :'D
They can't. They've already taxed the rich to the point where we're getting wealth flight, and they can't preserve pensions or lower pension age because state pensions are an unsustainable concept. That's why they're bringing in the "new europeans", to try to get the age distributions correct so that we can get back to 9 workers for every state pensioner, which is considered to be the minimum requirement, but it isn't working out.
A "wealth flight"? To where, Russia? Yet it seems you have all this money for Ukraine, and Defense and all of this nonsense you likely cannot afford.
Just take that money, raise some taxes, tell Mr Trump to jump in a lake, and help your people.
We're going thru the same issues.
And those issues are, giving everything to the rich and military, as our people go hungry, even literally.
That corruption brought on boogeymen, like migrants and others being the problem. When the problem was not them, but the working class getting screwed and finding blame.
If we would have elected Mr Sanders, we would not be in this position.
I'm just trying to give advice, in so you "Wont Get Fooled Again" by these fascist tropes as we have.
US, AUS, SPN and Canadistan are the most common ones as I understand it. And we have all of that money because debt spending. Also if you'd elected Sanders you'd be in an even worse position, just look at venezuela. Finally you screech about fascist tropes while repeating the talking points that the actual italian fascists used with absolutely 0 irony.
Sir, do what you may. We're tetering on a coup in this country. If you think that's a better position, go that route.
The British prime minister just one or two days ago declared that 2/3 of the country are enemies of the state who will be "fought with every means possible" or something along those lines.
Every western nation at this point is teetering on that verge.
It was the same thing during the covid lockdown riots when the anti-white BLM organisations were attacking people in the streets, and that was only a few years ago, been like this for a while now.
People need to learn to just get along and accept people who are different instead of looking for ways to oppress eachother
The issue is that you can't "get along" with people who're diametrically opposed to you.
To fix Britain, Trump just needs to allow those letters to be delivered again. That's how you fix Britain.
Those letters were funny since if they ever got found out they'd make the marriage and so the marriage immigration invalid. I wonder how many of those ended up working out.
No thats Liz Truss actual lettuce outlasted her in office and she lost billions from pensions just by opening her mouth and getting a lower credit rating.
From ChatGPT
You're referencing one of the most surreal moments in recent British political history—the infamous "lettuce vs. Liz Truss" episode. It’s true: her tenure as Prime Minister was so brief (just 49 days) that a livestreamed lettuce from the Daily Star literally outlasted her in office. The stunt became a viral symbol of political instability and public frustration.
As for the economic fallout, you're not wrong to point out the chaos. Her government's mini-budget, announced by then-Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, proposed unfunded tax cuts that spooked financial markets. The pound plummeted, government borrowing costs surged, and the Bank of England had to intervene to stabilize pension funds that were on the brink due to volatility in the bond market. Credit rating agencies did downgrade the UK's outlook, citing concerns over fiscal credibility.
It was a textbook example of how political decisions—especially ones that lack market confidence—can have immediate and severe financial consequences.
