Yeah what the heck. The reboot didn't look anything like it. If it didn't have the same name no one would know. So it's like why bother calling it Perfect Dark? Is the reboot uncanceled? I think I heard it was back on.
N64 games are neat, but some of them seem kinda weird to me.

I'm in favour of moving less accessible titles to modern systems

They did a remaster in 2010 and it's also included in Rare Replay since 2015 on Xbox One so I don't see them doing it again even for the love of money

Yeah I remember that and I had the rare replay back in the day, it was pretty neat. I mean if they're gonna try bringing perfect dark back they should have done the resident evil remake treatment to it. I don't mean it has to be third person but I mean it sticks to the original plot and everything but just way more enhanced graphics and on modern platforms. I know rare replay kinda already did that but this reboot isn't it. It'd be better with this idea here

I agree, I wouldn't have known it was perfect dark without the title. It looked like something completely different. They could have at least given it a subtitle.

I heard a reboot was happening and saw some trailers but I didn't know it was cancelled. If it is cancelled, they should remake the N64 version again on modern platforms for a new modern audience. I feel like this generation is missing out on of the best FPS games I guess lol

It's a shame the Perfect Dark Source remake was abandoned.

It still looks likes it's a slow work in progress, it doesn't look like hope is completely lost in it
