Just because you can make a game doesn't mean people should appreciate your bad game.
Harsh... but to each their own.
I'd say that's a gross overstatement... at least 33% of all Indie games are decent.
Besides, or really depends on one's own interests, just because you don't like a game doesn't mean others won't.
