Assassin's Creed Shadows is the next upcoming game.
I'm not sure what's wrong but just look up Assassin's Creed Shadows on YouTube
Guns for the player character? Those things aren't very stealthy, are they?
It was an interesting idea at the time (it was repetitive) It was a little too farfetched for it's own good(story wise) that DNA stuff... yeah no.
Anyways yeah The PS3 was the last console that I bought Ubisoft games on - Scott pligrim being the last.
The problem isn't guns for the player character, it's when the guards have guns. It makes it very difficult to run away.
I can imagine. Were they repeaters or muzzle loaders?
Personally, I think guns are only really annoying to deal with in 3-unity.
That only works when you're actively engaged in combat. If the game doesn't see you as being in combat, you can't do it.
Also you also have a gun yourself in those games. Hidden gun in Ezio trilogy, pistols in the Kenway games and beyond. They also fire way faster than the guards and is a one-shot kill.
If you just chicken away without using your tools, no wonder you're getting capped all the time.
In short: use your damn tools.
