This is the only reason I clicked this post and this is the most Redditish post ever.
4chan would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ your exes little sister who just turned 18. And they turn out to have a penis.
Assuming I did though, first, I want to know invited out by whom for what? If I am invited out on a date, then I am not going to cheat on my date. If it is a more casual outing, like a friend inviting me to a party, I might consider a one night stand if I am detached. Second, my understanding is that, at least by by default, you have no obligations to your exes once you break up with them, so I would at least consider it.
However, I would first have to be I am 100% sure that reopening a relationship with the ex is not on the table, because it will almost certainly foreclose upon rekindling a relationship with anybody to fool around with their parents, and create an uneasy situation at family outings even if it didn't for some reason.
Moreover, an appropriate amount of discretionary caution needs to be advised. If the other parent is still in the picture, then no hooking up with another person's spouse is pretty much a given no matter what the circumstances,. Moreover, parents and children are supposed to be joined at the hip so first of all, this almost certainly couldn't be a long term relationship, because if the offer is genuine, it's a bad show of character on the part of the parent to betray the child by getting entangled with an ex.
A long term relationship would also inevitably reincorporate the ex into my life, whether on purpose or by accident. Even on the off terms me and my hypothetical ex parted on amicable terms, the odds are we need to be separated from each-other if we broke up with each-other. More importantly, speaking of betrayal, who is to say this offer is genuine, rather than bait for a trap in a revenge plot by the ex or something?
So I probably would not follow through with it.
