So is indie horror just gonna be mostly multiplayer?

I am a huge fan of horror games, but not a huge fan of multiplayer, and it seems like more, and more indie devs are on a multiplayer/co-op run with horror games.. Not saying there is zero single player horror, but man there sure is a lot less in the indie scene. AAA seems to be doing well there with Cronos, Dying Light Beast, and Silent Hill F, but in terms of indies its mostly just multiplayer.. I hope to see more single player horror soon from indies and AA.

Seems like it, playing with friends is fun and I gotta admit successfully making a game scary despite being multiplayer is impressive. Would be nice to see more single player horrors though I agree.

Yeah games like Lethal Company, Repo, Outlast Trials, Phasmo, and more i can see why people are jumping on the wagon, but dang man don't forget about us single player lovers. lol

"Indie" horror is mostly found on that Itch io site, isn't it? IDK, I've never used it, but anytime I see a YouTuber playing singleplayer indie horror, they're always like "New game out on Itch io!"

I just assumed it's like, a site for indie horror.

there is a lot of indie horror there, yes. but its also rife with a lot of bottom of the bin rubbish. there are some gems amidst the heaps of garbage, but you have to dig for a bit. the vast majority of the gems make their way to steam.
