small little rant

So i made the mistake of going on X/twitter and i think i'm having a break down over it?
are people really this mean ? are they really this selfish?

like please tell me that place doesn't represent humanity? if i had to imagine hell i think that would be it and i am not being overly dramatic ! I am being the right amount of dramatic

Most people are good (at least i hope so), it's just that on Twitter the rock bottom of humanity is really common (and loud). Just look around irl and you'll see a lot of kind people

I can't really tell you much. I don't have a positive opinion of X Twitter. You could try BlueSky, people seem to go there when they hate Twitter, though I don't think I would have a positive opinion about that site either, but idk. Never bothered to visit the site, dunno what BlueSky even looks like.

I am not really big on using social media so my opinion might be twisted by hearsay to an extent. It's fine if my opinion comes as invalid or wrong, it's just an opinion. I don't believe X/twitter should be taken seriously, a lot of its content comes from what I can only say delusional or entitled people. It's been known as an outlet for pointless arguments and drama-chasing, at least in a big part of it. It has its positive sides, working as a news media and a portal for artists or many interesting things, but sadly it's a small portion of it. People are this mean, they get emotionally tied to their own opinion and their sense of entitlement pushes that above and beyond, disregarding normal discussion into pointing a knife. I wouldn't say it something to represent humanity, but it's certainly a big part of life for many people that want to be a part of "something". It's easier to live life without owning a ton of socials

The great thing is that you don't need to use Twitter. Don't touch it again; you're not missing out on anything, Kayla. Life is better without social media.

I am a daily user at Twitter X, I find a lot of news and information. The general audience in Twitter X is what you make it. If you show respect, they will respect you. I consider Twitter X a reflection of real world society outside of the computer.

I made a lot of real life friends from Twitter X, just like the real world, don't be an ass. Rules are the same as in real life outside offline. To answer your question, yes you're being overly dramatic about Twitter X.

Yeah and unlike Steam, there's no echo chamber with Twitter X, I know some gender ideology supporters going around yelling hate this hate that. On Twitter, users will set you straight about that kind of behavior.

As my previous comment above, Twitter X is a reflection of the real world behaviors. I thank Musk for freedom of speech. Unlike steam echo chamber.
