Gaming could be worse | Stop being a snob
People commonly complain about gaming these days. Do you realize how AMAZING we have it today? People are like, "OMG THE NINTENDO SWITCH IS BAD!!!!" How about I give you a windows XP machine and you can ONLY play games on it during that time. Now are you gonna complain?

Yall gotta realize that graphics aren't everything considering people still play DnD to this day and that requires imagination above all else. Yet, so many of you are like, "I NEED THE BEST GRAPHICS CARD IN MY PC RIGHT THIS INSTANCE!" dude, I run a i7 and a 2070 in a PC I built nearly 9 years ago. STILL does amazing! Most games I've noticed don't need anything heavy to play it.

Take VRChat for instance. There are people who play the game on Quest then get called "questies" like it's a bad thing. OK so what? Maybe they don't mind, maybe they like it! Not to mention that people are trying to get the most realistic worlds and what not. When I play a game, I don't expect to see reality, I expect games to look goofy sometimes. IE Hearthstone. Have you seen how goofy that game can look?

One of my favorite games android and PC is RCT (classic if you're on android) and it's so much fun to this day! It's amazing!

To this day, I love the original Sims 1 complete collection because of what you can do! People to this day are making more mods, finding new secrets, and more. People STILL come to me asking me how to install the game from 20 years ago and it's awesome. BTW this is also the fact that the game was kicked from everything and people like me had to keep it alive through google drive and archive.org.

My point is that a lot of games don't need amazing graphics considering how many side-scrollers on the Steam Store to this day that are just Super Mario clones. Also, have you seen the amount of shovelware on the Switch and crappy adult puzzle games? Type in Furry in the store search and you will see what I mean and you'll be like, "this is just BAD" and there are a few good things there but eh. No thanks even as a furry but whatever.

people build pc like some sort of achievment this day, or any day, they build, they play for impressing other, not for their satifactory

i acthually like text-based game, or hidden object game it more immersive than any game

the fact people claim remotely older hardware will run everything at 10 FPS(exaggeration) is a pure lie

as a i7-3770K and a 1660 Ti will take on just about anything with good FPS and temps if made properly
heck, just a A6-3650 and 8 GB of RAM worked too despite performance problems ofc

i know these because i used this

good to know someone knows these facts too

I was talking to this 1 guy in a Discord about RCT Classic for a minute and he had no idea what he was talking about because he kept saying ♥♥♥♥ like, "You dont have the new sprites! You don't have the new graphics!" Like dude chill it aint that big a deal to me.

I've been playing Quidditch (2024) and the settings can go as low as 30FPS. LMAO

But this is also why I say "most" games because so many games still screw up on my PC. But I did hear that Cyberpunk runs on older hardware a tiny bit better while the 50 series struggles.

Depends on how old too I guess cause there are a lot of older PCs that JUST WORK. There's a dam that runs DOS and runs everything right there with floppies and it's off the net fully. Like this PC has NEVER been on the internet.

i think gaming is really amazing we can do anything the physics are getting really great...

we just need more creatives to get together and show us spectacular spectacular....

i really wish we had more pop stars in games... like take a Gaga album and make it a game..
like they do with some books and movies...
