If you disagree with both liberals and republicans, what is your political stance?
Since we are all tired of the status quo, I'm curious what people would implement if they actually had some form of control over their lives and wasn't outsourced to people you don't, and will never, know nor like.

Make the Federalist Party great again?

I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I think people can be gay, trans, whatever and no entity should infringe upon their privacy to do as they wish in a way that does not, "harm," themselves or society. I also think we should bring back debtor's prison because refusing to repay money taken from somebody is essentially theft and further I believe that due to the financial burden our prison system has I would consider mandatory prison labor to support their stay otherwise they should be ejected into space.

i have long since abandoned such mortal affairs. the great ones and their work against the things that lurk in the ink is all that matters to me now, and those nefarious entities care not if you are "liberal" or "republican"
To me, the US liberals and Conservatives are waaaaaaaaay to far to the right for my tastes.

id prefer a more socialist government both in the US *and* where I live.

i suspect most here will prefer more jackboot stuff.

"Liberals" vs "republicans" isn't a thing. One's a general label and the other is a concrete party. It's like comparing carbohydrates with granny smith apples.

But the solution is simple. Politics should not be a permanent career that carries the expectation of getting rich off lobbyist handouts. Public servants should expect public service, not private profit. That's it.

But when you let lawmakers determine their own salaries and write their own bribery loopholes, you get what you should expect.

Truth be told, it was actually the antifederalists that were the good guys back then. They're the ones who insisted upon the implementation of a bill of rights in order to ratify the constitution. I dare not suppose what sort of authoritarian hellhole the U.S.A. would have been like if it were not for its bill of rights.

It might actually be half as bad as Trump's opposition claims it is right now! :-P

I must give to Madison for doing the bulk of the work of penning both the U.S. constitution and the. bill of rights though.

I'd prefer a more integralist government both in the US *and* where I live.

Left wing right wing, its all the same bird to me.
my political stance is, for america, is that this is a country of the people for the people by the people, but the people no longer care and rather make dumb useless arguments online that go no where like children on a playground so I stopped caring too until I start seeing society act like adults again.

I don't disagree with the Republicans as I support them. The liberals however, may God have mercy on their souls.

In America, you exercise your right to vote. Contact your state or federal congressional representative.

Sounds like Plato's ideal government of philosopher-kings.

Move to another country where politics is boring yet works, like Norway or other Nordic countries :steamhappy:

Seriously, I couldn't care less about politics until Trump took the throne for the 2nd time... Now it's all-consuming if you attempt to follow any news... :steamdeadpan:

Would be great to go back to the old days when then most important thing was the invention of sliced bread...
