blocking

so first off no one blocked me lol but i have been seeing it lately. people have a conversation and someone gets upset and just like okay blocked or i'm blocking you your dumb!

I just picture a whiny ten year old saying that because blocking someone is so childish unless its someone who is a scammer or threatening you * the only two people i blocked*

but yeah why is it so normalized? can people really not handle being upset or challenged?

The reason NOT to block someone is because you're willing to have a conversation with that person.

I've found some people (usually foreign agitators, the willfully ignorant, and the blatantly psychopathic) are simply not interested in having a conversation. They are pushing an agenda or an ideology or their own ignorance and are unwilling to accept any fact you present to them.

So I block them so I don't have to interact with them. Besides, the time for talking has been over for several months now.
