But what does it mean

Charcoal is a FILTER, it filters the blood going to the brain. The burger is something you eat and in this context it means the brain eats the subjectively filtered material processed by the heart.

In other words the heart is a subjective filter and the brain turns into some type of useful objectiveness. But that is only a simple persons understanding of biological organs.

It sounds like the premise of a horror movie. In a dystopian future, following the explosion of a comet near Earth and a mysterious fallout, humanity loses the ability to experience emotions. People begin to undergo strange mutations that carbonize their hearts and internal organs.
