This is your final warning to upgrade to GNU/Linux. It's infinitely better, every game and application runs perfectly. Your life will be be better. It'll be better than intimate relationships (hence why I don't bother with that stuff). You'll feel free again. And most importantly, you'll gain my respect.

OP thinks Linux is new to the market, lol. Linux can inherently be more unsafe in certain instances compared to Windows especially using any free Linux Distro's then you could be targeted, so use a valid paid version of Linux.

But if you ask me, Linux needs a lot of bloated steps to run games and there is a reason Valve tanked SteamOS in 2015, not all games run on Linux. You can use both, simple enough and make your judgements there.

Linux is a cult. I swear these people don't recomend a os, they PREACH they want you to CONVERT to the cult of the penguin. Stay away from them they WILL murder you as a gift to the GNU.

To be honest it doesn't really require much more tinkering than other computer operating systems, and most of the extra tinkering is just getting windows apps to run on it because people are so attached to Microsoft that most applications are compiled for windows by default. And Proton really minimizes that amount of tinkering.

To be fair, there are still some pain in the ass random hardware especially when you get some non-popular laptop. But who are we kidding: a lot of people need videos "max performance settings for game X". Carl, it's like 12 knobs, you could figure it faster than searching for this video.
