I'd say it's about the same level of too late as it is for the US to start using the metric system.
there is no need for them too.

there is no particulair advantage of one or the other.

it is handy if everybody uses the same in the same area.

but with britain an island.. there is no problem it driving on the other side...

(it mostly is a problem when you try driving a car made for right side driving in uk (which should be banned for safety).. or for brits.. as well cars modified for left side driving likely cost more..

the usa being idiotic with their imperial measurments is a much greater thing that needs to be fixed..

You'd have to buy new buses if you did, otherwise everyone will be getting off into traffic.

Too many different units to do the same type of measurement.
There's no need to change.

There's no need to change.
that's what someone who just doesn't want to change would say

Look I don't have a problem with the imperial system, I work construction and use a jobber all the time :P

It's always fun to use a very specific kind of calculator for base 2, 4, 8, 12, and 16ths all at once.

it works
That it does. TBH I couldn't be bothered to relearn metric anyways. Granted it's not much to learn, everything is base 10.

"Metric" isn't base 10 our counting is base 10 as there is only 1 unit for each type of measurement unlike imperial.
For length there is only metre and nothing else.
The UK is so cooked.
