it's a good time of the year. i do not enjoy the summer heat. excessive coldness is almost as bad though. but the bugs are gone so that's nice.

Fall is okay. And seeing the breath is superior to smelling the breath. One can even evade more easily if need be... Summer year round would be a bit boring, besides the heat to which one would probably adapt in that case.

I'll take an eternal winter or autumn over year-long summers.
