What makes you think this is a scam? Seems to have a HD graphics mode which I hope is referring to the models, which is more than I expect from ports like this.
Basically, EC Digital (the people who put it on on steam) are an unknown dev studio originating from Hong Kong, nobody knows if they have the rights to it and with it being a tiny studio and this being their first project, (I am not calling this their first game since they didn't create it) I would like to highly doubt they got the thumbs up to go ahead with this game and especially with them trying to implement AI into the game and auto installing fan patches. This all seems way too suspicious.
The fan patches without permission is weird. I've seen worse though, like Rockstar shipping actual cracked versions of their game on Steam lol
this was only available at one of those shady sites that collects old defunct games
