is it even possible to explain the souls games?
because it feels like every minor/major character and boss is doing thier own thing while the world is in chaos.

demon souls, dark souls, blood born, lies of p
the many different aeras, times and space, aliens, demons, nutjobs
whats this character or monsters purpose, playing god, experiments gone wrong
its just a mess

I think there is suppose to be a real, physical, tangible divide between bosses. you can see this even in the world in chaos. crossing that physical divide I think is part of the power fantasy.

There are people who've built entire careers, making tens of thousands (or probably more) of dollars, doing exactly that by making 8 hour long video essays about the lore on YouTube.
