Is Steam Game Idler a better alternative to ArchiSteamFarm and Steam Achievement Manager?

So I found this Steam Game Idler on reddit https://github.com/probablyraging/steam-game-idler

Have been using it for a couple of weeks and can confirm it is a great alternative ArchiSteamFarm which is overly complex to set up. And a great alternative to Steam Achievement Manager which is just outdated and has a bad UI

Steam Game Idler (SGI) has a more modern GUI, and has both trading card farming and achievement manager features built in to a single app.

It's also completely open source on GitHub

Appreciate it. I've used other popular idlers but this has a nice UI (plus linux server support) so I'd like to use it if someone can confirm it's safe to do so

I'm going to assume it's software that allows you to appear as running the game from the steam client's perspective, without actually running the game.
People usually do this to extract their steam card drops from games they don't actually want to install and play.
