Left 4 Dead 2 is good but the sounds are a bit lousy
I suppose Team Fortress 2 and World at War could count
CSGO's gun physycs is cancer to beggineres but at the same time very comptitive.
Don't play valorant it's gunplay is worse.
I haven't finished WaW yet, still on the Pacific campaign
Battlefield feels pretty neat tho, had a brilliant time playing Hardline campaign during mid-school.
I wouldn't play CSGO cuz' it's more of competitive thingy, you kinda have to go through a learning curve which is heavily involved with skill. Since I'm kinda casual so that may not be the best choice ever. Same goes for Valorant, and almost every competitive shooters.
They do feel great when you are like, gunning down thousands of NPCs into ragdoll.
Still impressed by how they manage to put that much of zombies in L4D2 while still being friendly to low end PCs.
I also heard Arma has good gun mechanics no??
But for me, the most impressive and enjoyable game that is down to good sounding and feeling guns is Killing Floor and Killing Floor 2.
Sure, the gameplay might not be to your liking, especially if you're more after the actual firefights to be more miltaristic, for example, as it's a wave based shooter.
But I always love dipping my toe into them because the guns sound great, have a real heft and behaviour to them, and the stereo soundstage is pretty damned good too as you can easily tell where things are around you.
