Heading back to 2008 gaming
Given how unaffordable PC gaming is becoming now with GPU prices and now RAM prices, my guess is CPU prices will be the next to increase.

So i present to you, my new build. https://i.gyazo.com/338cd3eb54220916a5ac79cc3fc72b54.png capable of 720p gaming and 1080p gaming in select indie titles.

RIP affordable PC Gaming 2005 - 2025 you had a good run.

I don't see why the CPUs should be next when there are barely any improvement in the last 4 years and they are 3-4 times cheaper than GPUs in terms of production.

Instead of Intel Arc GPU and this entry level cpu from 2019, can't they be replaced with something like Ryzen 5 5600G/4600G or similar? Otherwise the configuration costs dirty cheap if some parts are bought second hand.

CPU prices will increase just cos we dont have any options. It's intel or AMD so suck it and pay up.

But for real amd will increase the prices to make up for selling less vram.
