I've been using the Steam Client as normal, in terms of opening the window for my Library and occasionally buying things from the Store. For the past few months, however, the window often opens on a different resolution, but mostly to a blank/black window (the screen isn't what's turning black, but the window itself). It only goes away if I right-click the task in the taskbar and select "Big Picture Mode", or if I reload the Steam Client altogether.

Seeing as how this has happened across multiple SSDs, I don't think I ought to ignore it if I want it to go away.
