Imo just get a cheap used steam deck and stick to games that play well on it which are like what? 99% of pc games and most console games ever made?

There's a good reason why Valve hasn't put out a steam deck 2 yet. There's no hardware that compelling at the same form factor and weight that can handle gaming that much better with decent battery life at a reasonable price.
