Steam Input Enable/Disable Delay or Hotkey
I'm currently using an unconventional setup with my dualsense controller. I want to preserve dualsense detection and features that are supported natively in certain games, but also use the gyro for precise aim.

For example, to achieve this in Indiana Jones and the great circle - I keep steam input disabled, then launch the game so that dualsense is detected, then I manually enable steam input to allow for gyro to mouse for aiming. I plan to use it this way in other games with dualsense support like cyberpunk 2077.

What would really help is a way to have steam input activate after a delay, or allow for a hotkey to quickly enable/disable it.

Thanks!

Nope. Not possible. The way you are doing it now is basically the only way.

Just enable it for games you need it for and disabled for all the rest. Having it enabled prior to launching a game that has native controller support should not hurt anything. As tbat depending on what your Steam Input config is for said game + controller

Just for example, if I enable it BEFORE launching Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it disables dualsense detection/features. So I have to keep it disabled for launch but then enable once in game.
I have attempted created a blank profile for the controller (all buttons/controls set to NONE) with only the gyro configured - and that works, but only if steam input is disabled before launch.

Ok well that's good know.

For now, no you'd just bave to keep doing it the way the described tbat works for you.

What I suggest is provide more in-depth feedback about the issue(s) here >>> https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/1/

I found the injection and ping bug I mentioned earlier. Hackers jailbreak the CEF folder by running their script via the F1 key in the game. They disrupt ping, making you a wallhacker and potentially getting banned.:flammable:
