Will new steam controller work to control tablets?

I just got a Tab S11 Ultra and would love to have that to play the tablet games. My arms get tired using the screen would the bluetooth let it be paired or otherwise use as a main controller for steam and tablet or eve pc games.

wiil it work? yes. how well it will work? nobody knows. If you didn't have Steam running with the old one it ran in lizard(mouse/keyboard) mode. Unfortunately I'm fairly sure nobody knows if the new one will work any other way yet. Hopefully the new one will have the ability to mode switch with profiles in it.
