That's what I worry about. I would not have thought games can do that if you play on different hardware like a desktop and a laptop and have two different sized screens.
What do you mean by not a good reputation?
Oh and yes I'll turn it off just to be sure
game saves and settings are often different config files and/or locations depending on the game
for game specifics ask in games forums
if steam cloud is enabled, it *should copy game saves to could when game is closed, and check cloud for newer saves when a game is launched
sometimes steam messes up and saves are lost/corrupted or overwritten with older save
if steam also grabs settings/configs for game it will overwrite those on the other pc too
but ymmv depending on usage and game
imho, play on one pc and disable steam cloud
if you want to continue on another, use remote play to stream from host to client
I just turned it off. I can copy the save files to the other machine via usb
2 accounts because i didnt know Humble bundle but they were giving a free game . That s why my second Steam acount came to life . i have 2 accounts on other platforms too because i didnt remember which email i had used .
have 3 emails .never intended this . But Google requires account of theirs . Microsoft moved from Hotmail to Outlook , so i had to create another account.
Only 3? I have a bunch of throwaway accounts when some place insists that I register. Now it is hard to find one that does not require a phone number. Glad I have the old ones that I can reuse.
