Nvidia Recommended Solution
"In-Game: Turn OFF V-Sync and any in-game FPS limiters.
NVIDIA Control Panel:
Enable G-Sync (if you have a G-Sync monitor).
Set V-Sync to On (This is crucial, as it works with the Frame Rate Limiter).
Set Max Frame Rate to your monitor's refresh rate minus 3-5 FPS (e.g., 141 FPS for a 144Hz monitor) to prevent exceeding the monitor's sync.
This way allows FG to work efficiently, V-Sync to prevent tearing via the control panel, and the FPS limiter to minimize latency, providing a smooth experience."
Maybe OP can mark this answer so that if people find this thread, they won’t believe anything @smallcat is claiming.
I just don’t get it, man. Nobody expects everyone to know everything about software or hardware. But if I don’t have any clue, why would I try to help others and mislead them like that?
