Cant connect to any friends game lobbies
For some reason I can't connect to any of my friends games lobbies. It attempts to connect then kicks me out. In the steam console it provides this message but I any attempt to research or try potential fixes leaves me in the same spot.

src\p2pengine\p2pjinglewrapper\socketclient.cc (878) : size <= 1024 * 1025

These are the games I've tried:
Plate Up (shows to my friends I joined and then immediately disconnects into a single player lobby)
Gunfire Reborn (Loads into game then lags out disconnecting from host)
PEAK (joins game then throws a Photon Exception)

I've tried turning off my firewall, restarting my router, restarting Steam and PC, remaking lobbies, and contacting my ISP (who said they would push it to the technically advanced customer service, but ultimately got no response)

Online play seems to work (like ARC Raiders) but friend lobbies are a no go for seemingly any game.

Computer is Windows 11, will happily provide any more details.

Make sure Windows Network is set to Private, not Public. Leave the Firewall on. Private vs Public is what dictates which Firewall rules set is actively applied.

If not this then change DNS for IPV4 and IPV6 and once done, disable the Network Adapter wait a moment and then enable it again and re-test

I change from Private to Public last night while troubleshooting without any luck and changed it back to Private.

I've changed the IPV4 DNS from automatic to Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, IPV6 also to Google's 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844 respectively. I will check to see if it works when a friend comes on to make a lobby with.

Unfortunately changing the DNS settings and disabling/enabling did not fix it,

Then it's possible Firewall/Port settings in the configuration of your Gateway/Router

Removed some already disabled settings/reservations in my router but still no luck :(

i think if the case is you connecting them, probablly the problem is in your network friend
reset the router to defaults
and setup its wifi again

there is really no need to forward ports anymore, unless you are hosting a game that others need to connect directly to your routers internet ip then your router would forward them to a pc hosting the game
I've just tested it on my laptop and I was able to connect to my friends lobbies with no problem. On Wi-Fi and with the same ethernet connection my desktop was using.

So that should rule out it being a network issue, just to confirm I also tried it again on my desktop in case some miracle happened over night but still no luck.
FIXED: all it took was resetting the network adapters to factory settings through windows.
Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset

Thought I already tried all of the simple things but apparently missed this one.
