tv recs for gaming pc
currently using a regular 60hz lg smart tv from 2019 but screen tearing and input lag makes it unusable for games, don't get why cos i don't remember a console being like that with this tv

it's on nearly permanently so can't be oled like my monitor, but still i need good blacks and minimum input lag. use case is yt, web browsing, watching series etc. don't need all weird smart features as it'll be used solely for pc. 55 inch. looking at 600, maybe 700 gbp but cheaper would be nice.

for screen tearing, just enable vsync in gpu control panel

for input delay, put use the tv menu and put it to game mode so it disables all image processing

most TVs are 4K 60/120Hz . inputs lags are mostly PC related

Samsung VA panels have amazing blacks (not all samsung TVs use samsung VA panels) and general specs

....but I personally recommend Hisense for the best value.

Cheaper than many 55 inches offers with worse specs.

I have the qm7K. It gets very bright and loud especially when you enable Dolby Atmos audio processing. Along with the Windows sound setting of "sound equalization"


I use my PC as a media center and gaming device and I don't like when characters whisper in movies and then the next scene is a huge loud explosion that's why I enabled the sound equalization setting...

Don't do it on the TV do it on your computer

I would listen to comment #2 before I'd be sourcing a whole new tv. And if the console was fine then that's enough proof that it's actually not tv related.
