I doubt it since your PC won't have problems doing native 1440p.
Steam Machine 2026 is going to upscale from a lower res and won't have max visuals per the FPS it's getting
before this was
Quad core with a detachable gpu in a laptop with a dvd tray if could imagine.
Tested so many computers never kept any.
Be available to find how many tabs can open and explorers and software utilities.
Keep thinking the 5060ti with 16GB gpu compared to a 5070 is strange when side by side the 5070 comes out of the screensaver faster though only 12GB, same cpu.
To do a side by side of something 2015 first produced to new architecture with same specs 2025 would be a neat prospect.

yup hence i couldn't answer this thread when i saw it. i don't know if i'm buying it, yo! if it's more than $800 then im not sure i want to justify it. if it's $600 or less... i will likely buy it. if it's inbetween those numbers, i guess i will have to think on it and wait to see how people like it and what can be done with it exactly.
when the rumors about this thing over the past year were being discussed on the steam deck discussions, it seemed to always be under the assumption that it would be priced similarly. like 4 or 500 for a base model. the conversation is much different now.
anyways im much more interested in the Frame and the controller.
