96gb is a bad idea just because of the way the memory stacks.....stick to 32 or 64.....right now no matter what you do 32gb kits are going for 200 bucks....if you got issues with the speed of the current set down clock them as you may get better CL timings then 30 given the kit is at 34 at 7200.....

are you really seeing a real world load of over 32gb or having issues with the current set???

there are 48g ddr5 dimms, 2 of those = 96g
nothing wrong with it since it will still be dual channel

but spending $500+ on ram just for the color, will make no improvement in games at all

7200 cl34 is much faster than 6000 cl30
more ram only helps if you need more ram

but here ya go
2x32g kit
Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB Gaming 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30

and

yeah no matter what i do, itll be dual channel as im running an itx mobo and ya, youre right, you can go upwards of 48gb per stick possible for a total of 96 gb

im really only doing it to have a maxxed out system for the simple fact that i can and that the front of my pc case needs more rgb since my 5090 is on the back side of my case now so the majority of the rgb is @ the rear since i upgraded cases (md280 meshless aio)

im thinking 64gb since the 96gb kits are over 1k atm which is nutty
the 64gb kits arent much better though @ around 700

if you just want more rgb lights
if the mobo has an argb header, you can get a argb strip for it

adapter cable from mobo argb to ws2812b strip
https://www.amazon.com/Jstincal-3-Pack-Extension-Adapter-Addressable/dp/B0CF2JZ5PF

ws2812b (argb) strip 1m 60 led
https://www.amazon.com/ALITOVE-Individual-Addressable-Programmable-Non-Waterproof/dp/B01MG49QKD

most mobo argb headers are good for 3a
60 leds on the header would be about the limit
you can cut the strip between the leds at the marks to make it shorter

in bios set the number of leds on the argb channels to 60 or the number of leds on the strip so it can light them all
setting it lower will not light them all, too high will lower the effective fps (more data sent than leds on the strip)
