Slow launch on some games

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this type of problem, where steam is very slow to launch some games, up to 4 minutes but other games launch instantly. Steam will say the game is running but nothing is happening on the PC then 3-4 minutes later the game will pop up.
My PC specs if needed
GPU RTX5090
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero
RAM 2 x 32gb Corsair Vengance DDR5
SSD (1) 1TB Crucial T710 Gen 5 M.2 NVMe PCIe
SSD (2) 8TB Samsung 9100 pro M.2 PCIe 5.0 NVMe

It is a brand new PC I only have Steam and Nvidia on it

Mos likely a software problem. But we need to know more. Does it only happen on certain games, which specific games take 3 to 4 minutes to launch? Does it happen every time u launch the game, or only the first one or two times?

Do the slow games use external launchers like EA App, Ubisoft Connect etc.

Are u using antivirus program or only windows defender?

All I now is that when steam says running but nothing appears, it usually means the game is stuck waiting on something in the background

or steam is trying to re-run the redists for the game

make sure steam is set to run as administrator so when they run they are installed correctly
or just delete steams redists and the redist folder in the games install location so they are manually bypassed

have you done the norms??? bios update? drivers updated? all the power settings changed (like not turning off disc drives for power saving?) memory not set to over 6000mhz as that is the best spot for all 9000 series AMD chips??

Hmm did you look at all suggestions above? Hmm Steam overlay or Big Picture Mode, oh maybe Synchronized Datas may slow loading at some games. Hmm, what OS are you using right now? Windows 10/11 or Linux with distro also flavor? 🤨🤔

i d check temps first . would open Resource Monitor and check what is going on - what is loading and etc. would benchmark the SSDs . Some could lock up. Keep in mind many games compile shaders upon first run .Agree with post 2 - redistributables install could slow down the first run.
