Steam Deck WI-FI issues
I'm not sure there's an answer to this, but here goes... I LOVE my Steam Deck. But why is the WI-Fi reception so completely abysmal?? I almost always lose connection while downloading. I put the Deck next to my WI-FI and it still fights grabbing the signal. It's amazingly frustrating. I've tried some of the fixes offered, but like everyone else, the problem continues. Regardless... I LOVE my Steam Deck. Not so much the WI-FI reception.

Ensure the Gateway/Router actually has two separate WIFI SSID. One for 5Ghz and one for 2.4Ghz. If 5Ghz is a problem for a particular device, switch it to the 2.4Ghz and see how it does, which should be seen as a different WiFi Network to log on to. If you bave issues on 2.4Ghz then you might want to go log into the Gateway/Router and look at the WiFi related settings. It will have a channel # which slightly adjusts the WiFi antenna frequency. Try a different channel and then once applied and the Gateway/Router reboots, re-test the 2.4Ghz on the troubled device again
