Moved to 32 decade ago. Not an exaggeration.
Painful checks use the simple OS of what windows shouldn't matter do a RUN of
compmgmt.msc
Linux borderline micromanagement, apologies the logistics aren't best to detail these channels.
Match monitor resolution to games and build from lowest to no upscaling recommended. If screen doesn't match hopefully change with small ini tweaks which HD2 forums should possess.
i haven't had any issue with any other game then rust in the past, tho i do run a very debloated copy of windows 10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU5F01oOzQQ&list=WL&index=388&t=1s
Germany's Gamestar (biggest gaming mag) have still 16GB as recommended in their low budget built-- then again, given current and upcoming RAM pricing (AI craze), not much of a surprise. The RAM I ordered back then now costs 3x of what I paid.
Get everything out of the OS startup
Always start game clients manually via right click shortcut > Run as admin
If you must be 3rd party browser while gaming then enable the ram saver option that passes all your other browser tabs, so they don't all take up so much ram
Edge is just so very terrible. I'd seriously debloat your OS and rid the OS of Edge, OneDrive and Copilot
It's possible but it will most likely have stutters and caching issues and possibly need to be restarted every so often to avoid crashes
if you are not doing lots of stuff in the background while the game is running its fine with the min req ram for the game
but if you have multiple or hundreds of browser tabs open, transcoding videos in the background, or other ram heavy tasks, then yes you need much more ram than the game recommends for it to continue running smoothly
