Wait until you can spend $1000+ for a good receiver + speakers; it will be so worth it.
Until then just get some basic book shelf speakers. But when Gaming it really would help to use some studio quality sounding headphones that are comfortable for you, for hours on-end.

Go to amazon and read reviews. See the number of 0 and 1 star reviews vs 4 and 5. There might be inherent issues with a product. Newegg might be another place to look for reviews.

Things to look for would be stuff like heavy on bass. Not all speakers sound the same.

Read recent reviews for all stars since products often change components over time to save a bit of money and availability.

Edifier make great speakers for the money. Unless you are going to spend a great deal, then they are the best option imo.

odd to see the pebble in that lineup lol - I would say the MR4 or M60 being they are the same price on amazon (M60 on sale). Perhaps the former for that near-field goodness or the latter for a bit more punch with the higher wattage and long-throw woofer...

Used Mordant short 902i paired with Fosi Audio V1.0B very good setup for cheap.

The amp can handle 2 more addition speakers even though it's only 50W per channel, I added Mordant Short M10's too.

Tried to find some vids... the bass on the 902i's do not need a sub at all.

any htib will be better than pc speakers
and easier to upgrade when you want something that sounds better

Be aware bluetooth might not work well. Delay. Maybe think about if you have to use cables.

The pebbles sounds like trash. Avoid them.

good speakers dont need alot of power

50-100w to a quality sub will sound better than 1000w to a junk one

Pebbles are actually pretty good, just lo-fi casual.

I said it was odd next to these entry-level audiophile bookshelf speakers. They actually do use far-field drivers and have decent range for single driver speakers and the enclosure is tuned / ported to get the max bass out of it.

Have heard far worse for sure...
